PRO probes are manufactured from 316 stainless steel for chemical compatibility. Precision construction with a narrow clearance between the inner rotating shaft and outer tube/chamber supports quick, effective, repetitive processing. Double Bearing Design Feature: Unlike many competitor probes, PRO uses a double bearing design for strength and stability, supporting better performance, safety, and longer product life. The rotor shaft component does not connect directly to the homogenizer drive shaft, reducing a common wear point. The design helps eliminate bending and flexing and supports straighter, freer rotation while locking into place during homogenization to reduce wear and damage.
Sample piece size and quantity affect breakdown. Sample solid piece size should not be larger than the diameter of the generator probe. For efficient homogenization of solids, the diameter of the largest solid should not be larger than the probe diameter. Can process up to 100ml of a liquid sample.
